Here's a fish that we caught in the POCO Bueno Tournament out of Port O'Connor, Texas on the "Thrasher", a 32 foot Albemarle.  We actually caught two blue marlin and several bull dolphin to 43 pounds on a rip that we got to fish two days in a row.  No money won, but what it's always a good trip when you catch blue marlin on back-to-back fishing days. This a blue Marlin we caught in the early part of the season on a charter aboard my 32 Albemarle, the "Thrasher".  We set-up a dock "brown bag" tournament with several boats at the dock - $100 per boat with the first tagged and released Blue Marlin taking the prize.  We ran toward a temp change off of your report. When we found the break and some bait we started putting out our spread.  My mate had just finished putting out first line in the shotgun clip.  I was still letting out the first rigger line when the shotgun blew up.  The blue was very hot on the first run.  We were able to start backing immediately since there was only one line to clear.  We tagged her right at 7:00 a.m. Although there were several other bill fish caught by the fleet that day, we got the first Blue and the brown bag.
