| The following image analysis was derived from a NOAA polar orbiting satellite (NOAA 12, 14, 15, 16, or 17). ROFFSTM has colored the image to make it easy to see the difference between water temperatures, as well as, traced the important water mass boundaries. Based on a multiple factor analysis, hot spot dots mark the areas where bait concentrations are expected and where fishing action is expected to be better compared with other (non-marked) areas. Numbers inside of the dots indicate the number of consecutive days that have seen favorable conditions over that area. The date of the analysis is located near one of the four corners. | |
