700LB Blue Marlin on “The Hooker” in Costa Rica!

Apologies for the bad language and my horrible sounding voice. I just thought I’d share some raw footage I took from the tower of the “Singularis”. “The Hooker” was on a 700lb Blue Marlin in the Los Suenos tournament a couple of days ago. It was very cool to see one that big in a part of the world where the average fish is 200-250lb. I was very sorry to hear these guys lost this fish later in the fight. Sea Lion Snatches Little Girl!

Sea lion snatches little girl off pier and drags her into water.  This is the moment a sea lion suddenly snatches a little girl from the edge of a pier and drags her into the waters. Her family gasped in fear as the sudden attack took place at the Steveston Fisherman’s Wharf, Richmond B.C. Canada. Footage of the incident begins with bystanders happily watching the creature swimming around and laughing at its playful movements. At one point the sea lion jumps up towards a little girl sitting on the edge of the pier but laughs can be heard from those watching, clearly not expecting what was about to happen next. Great Blue Marlin Conditions!

Great blue marlin action May 20-21, 2017 off Charleston to Georgetown and between Cape Lookout and Cape Hatteras. This is due to all the Bahamas blue water and marlin and tuna entering the Gulf Stream. The fish moved across the Gulf Stream to South Carolina and North Carolina.
