We are getting calls about strange behavior of bluefin in great abundance at the surface not taking a hook (lure, live bait, dead bait) off New Jersey and New York. This is common when a new group of tuna first come into an area. Very frustrating and typically lasts for 2-3 days until the fish become acclimated to the local waters, then they start biting like crazy. Try silver spoon jigs or other jigs as this has worked for me in the past. Drop em way back.
