Here’s some incredible dolphin behavior! While out surveying hurricane Irma’s effects on Florida Bay with The Everglades Foundation, we came across a large pod of bottlenose dolphins. This individual seemed happy playing with his food: a good sized tarpon. Florida Bay seemed to weather the storm pretty well, it’s mangroves absorbing a lot of the storm energy and protecting the inland from what would have otherwise been massive surges.
