Special Winter Sailfish/Wahoo Plans – NOW Available!

Due to popular demand we are once again offering a winter Florida sailfish/wahoo special discount plan. Many people realize that the currents affect the distribution and catch of sailfish just like the other billfish, tuna, dolphin, wahoo, kingfish and sharks. As our clients have won many sailfish tournaments over the last few years (e.g. Viking Key West Challenge, Northeast Florida Wahoo Shootout Series, Quest for the Crest, etc.) and use our fishing forecasting analyses on a regular basis from Jacksonville to Key West in the winter.   We are offering the following:

  • Florida Offshore: (Jacksonville or Tampa Inlet and south to Key West)
  • Pre-Season Discounted Price: Buy 16 analyses at $41.68 per analysis.  Pay $667 for the season. (Pay by December 1, 2017)
  • In-Season Discount Price: Buy 16 analyses at $48.60 per analysis.  Pay $778 for the season. (After December 1, 2017)

This program starts immediately and extends to the end of sailfish season May 01, 2018. Any of our areas including Jacksonville Offshore, Matanzas Inlet to Ft. Pierce, Canaveral to Lake Worth, Sebastian Inlet to Hillsboro Inlet, Palm Beach to Fowey Rocks, Miami, Key Largo to Sugarloaf Key, Marathon to Key West, Key West offshore, Tampa offshore, Tampa inshore, Boca Grande inshore, Naples to Cape Sable, Key West to Loggerhead Key. Please call or email for samples or check our website.

Also we are trying to finalize our ROFFS™ Winners List for 2017. Please send your winning efforts if you have not done so already. So far our clients (you) have reported to have won 301 major categories in 79 tournaments in 2017 which adds to 8204 over the last twenty seven years (including 2017).

See the evidence that the fishing action remains great this fall over many areas. Keep those boats in the water and catch some fresh fish for Thanksgiving, the holidays and New Year. The conditions suggest that the fishing action will continue for quite a while with the unseasonable warm water temperatures and blue water.

ROFFS™ client Tuna Fever adds a nice pair of wahoo with their tuna and mahi.

Yellowfin!

Need a moment of Zen? Here. Watch these yellowfins chow down. Hook Shots fan Tyler Contento not only helps catch and transport these fish, but his job at Greenfins in RI is to take care of them! The Struggle for Safe Passage at Oregon Inlet

Local commercial fisherman, fish processing businesses, charter boat captains and entrepreneurs whose businesses depend on a reliable passage through Oregon Inlet for goods or services , have all experienced setbacks and delays due to the inability to safely navigate the inlet. Ask around and most of them will tell you they are reevaluating their stake in the area and possibly looking to relocate.   The situation Dare County currently faces regarding Oregon Inlet is dire. Millions of local, state, and federal tax dollars fall upon the shoulders of Oregon Inlet. Without a viable solution, Dare County and the state of North Carolina will lose millions in financial benefits from the commercial fishing, seafood packing and processing, boat building and support services and recreation fishing and tourism industries. Without a solution, entire communities of generational fishing families will leave the area and take along with them the historical and cultural watermen heritage of this region. Video Courtesy:  CountyofDare | YouTube
